Barnepark C Daycare Center - Forest
Reference age
The Barnepark C nursery, located at 49 Rue de la Mutualité in 1190 Forest, is situated in the heart of an inner block, on a quiet residential street. The building is situated in an inner courtyard, set back from the street and largely surrounded by private gardens. The total floor area of the building dedicated to the daycare center is approximately 800 m², more than half of which is entirely devoted to the children. The remaining spaces are dedicated to the facility’s day-to-day operations: a kitchen, offices, utility rooms, staff areas, and a storage room.
In terms of the implementation and management of the spaces, the educational team welcomes children organized into age-homogeneous groups. This “horizontal organization” allows the team to focus on the development of a specific age group based on the children’s varying stages of development, particularly with regard to their independence.
